How We Use Instagram Data

We use Instagram data only to:

authenticate your Instagram account

show connection status inside Lahuta

create, schedule, publish, retry, or cancel Instagram posts that you configure

store drafts, media, scheduling information, publishing status, and publication history

maintain security, audit logs, diagnostics, and service reliability

We do not sell Instagram data. We do not use Instagram data for advertising, profiling, or unrelated marketing.

Sharing Instagram Data

We may share Instagram-related data only with service providers that help us operate Lahuta, such as cloud hosting, database, file storage, queue/scheduling, logging, and infrastructure providers. These providers process data on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.

Published posts and media will be sent to Instagram/Meta according to the action you request inside Lahuta and will be subject to Meta’s and Instagram’s terms and privacy policies.

Retention and Deletion

We retain Instagram connection data and scheduled post data for as long as needed to provide the service, until you disconnect the account, delete the post, request deletion, or close your Lahuta account.

When an Instagram account is disconnected, deauthorized through Meta, or deleted through Meta’s data deletion flow, we revoke or delete stored connection data and access tokens. Some data may remain temporarily in backups or logs where required for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or operational recovery.
