About this event

CHIRON KIDS COMBINE

Big potential starts with the basics. Give your child a fun, hands-on introduction to moving well, building confidence, and becoming the best athlete they can be.

Where Sports Medicine Meets Performance. Physician-Led. Data-Driven. Athlete-Focused.

Your athlete’s next adventure

  • Saturday, November 14, 2026 | 9:00–11:00 a.m.

  • Ages 6–12 | $35 per athlete | Limited to 20 youth athletes

  • Chiron Sports Performance | 43494 Woodward Avenue, Suite 105, Bloomfield Hills, MI 48302

  • All sports, activities, genders, and skill levels welcome. No previous training experience needed.

A strong start for every athlete

Whether your child loves team sports, dance, playground games, or is still discovering what they enjoy, there is a place for them at Chiron. This two-hour experience combines movement, technology, and practical education to help kids understand their bodies and build habits they can use in sports and everyday life.

Our focus is personal growth, curiosity, and confidence. Activities will be adapted to each child’s age and ability, with encouragement throughout.

PREVENT. Learn to move and listen to your body.

Our performance specialists will lead an active warm-up and teach the basics of balance, coordination, body control, and safe movement. Kids will practice simple techniques for running, jumping, and landing, and learn why preparing their bodies matters.

PERFORM. Discover what your body can do.

  • Speed: Try timed running with VALD SmartSpeed timing gates and learn how starting position and running technique affect movement.

  • Balance and power: Explore age-appropriate balance and jumping activities using VALD ForceDecks force plates.

  • Hands-on training: Practice movement skills through coached drills and fun challenges with our performance specialists.

  • Understand the numbers: Learn how testing can help us understand movement and guide future training.

Kids will experience the objective testing technology Chiron uses to support athlete development, explained in language they can understand.

FUEL. Build healthy habits with Dr. Oh.

Dr. Chibuzo “Casey” Ohanaja, MD, MPH—Dr. Oh—will guide an interactive discussion about fueling growing bodies, staying hydrated, getting enough sleep, and balancing activity with rest. Kids will leave with simple ideas they can practice at home and share with their families.

RECOVER. Learn how to care for your body.

Our performance specialists will guide a cool-down and introduce stretching, rest, and recovery. Kids will learn how everyday muscle soreness can feel different from pain, why they should speak up when something hurts, and when to stop an activity and tell a trusted adult or coach.

Two hours of discovery

  1. Welcome and active warm-up: Meet the team and get ready to move.

  2. Explore and train: Rotate through speed, balance, jumping, and movement stations with our performance specialists.

  3. Health and nutrition with Dr. Oh: Connect healthy habits to energy, activity, and growth.

  4. Cool-down and takeaways: Practice stretching and review body awareness and recovery basics.

Movement, learning, and water breaks will be woven throughout the event.

Before you arrive

Wear comfortable athletic clothing and athletic shoes, and bring a labeled water bottle. After checkout, Chiron will email you a private link to add each child’s details and sign the agreements, so please finish those before the event. Please contact Chiron before the event if your child needs an activity accommodation.

Drop-off and debrief

This is a drop-off camp. Due to space limitations, parents/guardians may not remain to observe during the training and testing portion. Parents/guardians are welcome to return for the final 15 minutes for a debrief session. Before dropping off an athlete, the parent/guardian must submit all required participant and health information, complete and sign every required agreement, and record a yes/no choice for each optional media permission. A ticket purchase alone does not complete registration or authorize participation. Please remain reachable by phone during camp and provide an emergency contact and the name and phone number of each authorized pickup adult.

Debrief for this session starts at 10:45 a.m. Each athlete will take home a mini snapshot of their testing metrics and a certificate of completion.

RSVP. Reserve your athlete’s spot.

Ready to get moving? Select one Youth Athlete Admission ticket for each child, up to 6 in one order. Admission is $35 per athlete, and registration is limited to 20 athletes ages 6–12. After checkout, Chiron will email you a private link to add each child’s details, a brief health review, emergency and pickup contacts, and to sign the agreements.

Cancellation, Credit, and No-Show Policy

Registration fees are nonrefundable. If Chiron receives your cancellation notice at least 48 hours before the scheduled start of your camp session, you may apply the amount paid for the canceled camp registration as a credit toward another future Chiron camp of the same value, subject to availability. The credit is not a cash refund.

To cancel and request the credit, email info@chironsportsperformance.com with the athlete’s name, camp/session, and order or registration information. The 48-hour deadline is based on when Chiron receives the notice.

Cancellations received less than 48 hours before the scheduled start and no-shows are not eligible for a refund or credit, unless Chiron explicitly approves an exception. No-show refunds will not be issued without Chiron’s express approval. An exception is not automatic or guaranteed. This policy addresses participant cancellations and no-shows and does not limit rights required by applicable law.
